Manage a team of Senior Contract Managers, Account Managers and Administrators.

Account management in a true partnership approach.

The role includes the management of many accounts and all associated processes across all functions. Revenues more than £15m.

Client Details

Leading third party logistics company that utilises technology to deliver end to end Supply Chain Solutions.


  • Positioning the organisation as the preferred provider within their portfolio of clients.
  • Ensuring the organisation maintains a long standing professional relationship with each customer within the portfolio.
  • Developing the relationship with the clients at all levels including directors, senior management, and contract owners.
  • Board pack preparation and delivery to internal executive team.
  • Attending monthly, quarterly client review meetings. Presentations to existing clients and potential new business.
  • Managing the contracts to ensure that the organisation is meeting all commercial and service level agreements the client requires and that the client is meeting their commitments to the business.
  • Managing clients through negotiation and consultancy.
  • Implementing account development and business plans.
  • Raising the organisations profile within client organisations to maximise business opportunity and bookings. Maximising organic growth of existing clients.
  • Reviewing department resource and ensuring optimal resource utilisation and productivity to ensure departmental capacity and flexibility and to maintain operational effectiveness always.
  • Identify training, development and succession plans for the team.
  • Effectively recruit, manage and develop new members of the team

  • Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced.


  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to develop strong and lasting commercial relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent numeracy / analytic skills, organisational, planning and motivational skills
  • High Achievement Drive
  • Creates a dynamic and high-performance work place environment

  • Develops others through coaching and development

  • Account management of large omni-channel clients

  • Experience of working in either garment processing or tier 1 retail customer services.
  • Excellent leadership experience

  • Commercial awareness

  • Experience of working in supply chain activities

  • IT literate (Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office)

  • Related high-level degree
