Interim Assistant Commercial Manager, Central Government, 6 Months, Inside IR35, Central London, £290 per day

Your new company
A new opportunity has arisen for an interim Assistant Commercial Manager. You will be working for one of our largest and most diverse central government clients for a 6 to 12 month period. Your role will be based in central London and will fall inside IR35 so you may only be paid through an umbrella company or via PAYE.

Your new role
Your role will be very much operational and you will be expected to lead and support on a number of OJEU tenders. This will include; researching the supplier market, tendering, negotiating and liaising with a number of stakeholders and ensuring all procurements are adhering to EU and internal regulations and compliance. You will be working within adult education services so a lot of the procurements will be within learning and development. As well as procuring, you may also be involved in some contract management analysis.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you must have public sector, including end to end OJEU level procurement experience. You will have generalist procurement experience and be able to pick up and lead on multiple procurement projects. Ideally you will have procured within learning and development beforehand. The desired candidate will also have 3 to 5 years' procurement experience and CIPS would be a highly advantageous.
