Senior Consultant - Bus & Rail Procurement - New Transformation Projects - Interim - London/Travel + Home Working - £500 - £800 per day - Initial 3 Month Contract

Industry leading consultancy seeks Transport Procurement experts with strong experience successfully implementing transformation projects across major Bus and Rail organisations.

This a fantastic opportunity to help lead one of the largest projects in the company’s history, implementing best-in-class procurement process for blue chip clients within the Bus and Rail industries.

As Transportation Procurement Consultant, you can enjoy the following:-
  • Executing a seamless and integrated sourcing process that over delivers upon key stakeholder requirements
  • Collaborating with best-in-class sourcing professionals and senior stakeholders across the Bus and Rail industries
  • Project managing end to end procurement processes for large-scale £Multi Million Transportation sub-categories
  • Establishing and cultivating key stakeholder relationships, building trust and support for critical sourcing initiatives
  • Seeking out opportunities to drive creativity and innovation within each sourcing project, while ensuring adherence to quality and timeliness standards
  • Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives, ensuring Logistics Sourcing team is supporting overall company direction and growth

Experienced required:
  • A proven track record of leading project teams within a rail or transportation business, having shown progression and development throughout career
  • Ability to work on an advisory basis with FTSE 250 businesses
  • Degree level education / CIPS ideal however not essential
