The position of Business Process Lead in the Midlands is part of a team that will drive a major transformation programme and will be responsible for leading the Business Process changes as required.



The role purpose will be to define the future business process template and organisation structure that will give my FMCG, market-leading client a leading edge in its stock management and master data administration.





Client Details

My client are a major player within the FMCG industry in the Midlands and are due to undergo a major SAP implementation.

Description



As Business Process Lead for a market-leading organisation, you will be responsible for delivery in the below key focus areas:
  • Ensure the whole solution is joined up with master data administration, demand forecasting, inventory management, short-term order & stock allocation processes and overarching S&OP controls working in tandem and efficiently with each other.
  • Ensuring a seamless transfer of capability and knowledge across operations is undertaken, alongside developing a business process template fit for the future, based on best practice and best exploitation of SAP Hana IBP capabilities.
  • Responsible for ensuring departmental delivery against key KPI’s and all operational requirements once the function is up and running.



The specific measurables of the role include delivery of project programme to time and to budget; also effectiveness of future planning and master data admin team from day one of operations as measured by:
  • Service levels
  • Stock levels
  • Level of stock write off
  • Forecast accuracy

Profile



Key requirements:
  • Hands-on project management/delivery experience and integration between ERP and Planning solutions.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain interactions and inter-dependencies and able to demonstrate business process analysis acumen.
  • Experience of working in a successful, fast-paced business process transformation project – with ideally direct experience of implementing SAP Hana IBP, SAP APO or similar high-end functionality planning systems.
  • Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery experience and integration between ERP and Planning solutions.
  • Undergraduate Degree or higher in business or a technical discipline.



Key competencies:

  • Excellent ERP and supply chain system implementation and management skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex process and operational business challenges.
  • Governance and consensus building skills required to facilitate design an effective functional & if possible transformational system.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, influence and drive change in a matrixed organisation.
  • Ability to handle multi-level relationships and challenge key stakeholders as well as peers to achieve aligned outcomes High level of numeracy.
  • Full driving licence (as travel to multiple sites will be required through life of project)
