Client Details

This is a very unique and efficient procurement function trusted and highly thought of by all levels, including board level.

Description
  • Category Management as part of a successful team
  • Clinical and Non-Clinical spend areas
  • Unique projects unique to the organisation and seen nowhere else
  • Working as part of a team to deliver on ambitious savings targets
  • Liaising with clinicians and other stakeholders to deliver best in class service
  • Ensuring and adhering to compliance of OJEU/EU Procurement Law
  • Creating category strategies and procurement strategies that benefit all stakeholders

Profile
  • Will have at least 2+ years, preferably more, public sector procurement experience in local government, central government or health care
  • Will be fully CIPS qualified. Candidates part qualified may be considered
  • Will be able to start within 30 days of receiving an offer
  • Will be able to work 5 days a week on site
  • Will have experience of e-procurement systems (e.g. Bravo)
  • Will have experience of running open and closed procedure
  • Has exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Is ambitious and looking to progress onto complex and important procurement projects
  • Is comfortable presenting plans to senior management/leadership
