In addition, the role will drive and implement best practice procurement processes and significantly improve operational stakeholder engagement whilst ensuring that the optimal balance between value for money, innovation, quality, service and cost savings is achieved.

Client Details

My client is a growing independent caterer with over 5000 employees and a turnover exceeding £250M per annum

  • Understand the business strategy and how it impacts the Procurement services
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels to understand and align Procurement objectives with the business needs
  • Participate and implement Procurement transformation throughout the business working with stakeholders and responding to any issues or suggestions related to your category
  • Act as Category advisor within the business and externally as appropriate
  • Communicate the value of Procurement functions to the business

  • Experienced in developing Category strategies through the use of leading category management methodology
  • Strong stake holder skills
  • An individual who makes decisions, identifies and understand issues, problems and opportunities and takes action
  • Drives to deliver against set challenging goals for both yourself and the team and works to achieve or exceed goals.
