  • The role will review existing product offerings and provide proposals as to where items should be streamlined through rationalisation, standardisation and assessment of new suppliers to achieve Y on Y bottom line savings/growth for clinical solutions.

  • As a senior member of the team you will need to have the ability to get buy-in from internal and external stakeholders. Presenting proposal and engaging correct stakeholders to support and deliver these initiatives

Our client is a market leader in their respective field providing unique solutions to the clinical and medical industries.


  • Keep up to date with requirements of market, industry and customers, to ensure Clinical solutions is aware of changes or new opportunities to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

  • Assess the requirement for clinical trials and secure and manage these trials where they are required.

  • Liaise with the operations functions to ensure the product lines take account of operational requirements and constraints.

  • Conduct education and training across internal business departments as required to increase clinical awareness of staff.

  • Develop operational tools that delivers standardisation proposals achieve sign off and to implement to completion. Tracking financial impact working closely with Procurement at a stock and cost level with support from Finance.

  • Tracking impact at a stock and cost level working closely with Procurement, Purchasing and Finance to monitor cost savings, targeted usage of obsolete stock etc.

  • Provide clinical direction and expertise to internal stakeholders to ensure Business is fully equipped to provide exceptional service to customers.

  • Attend exhibitions and conferences and networking events, gathering valuable contacts, market information and intelligence.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all regulatory requirements ensuring our products remain compliant with our QA policies and industry regulations.

  • Work closely with the commercial and operational functions to understand changing demands and how these impact/translate into the business.

  • Produce a suite of reports, concisely reflecting the month activities, results and future projects.



  • Background in a clinical role/industry
  • Bachelor Degree qualified or equivalent professional qualification
  • Understanding and appreciation of other business functions along with commercial awareness
  • Evidence of focusing and delivering projects to increase business profit, revenue targets and growth plans
  • Proven leadership skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders


• High level of proficiency in ERP/MRP

• Advanced Excel skills

• Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016, MDD 93/42/EEC, ISO 9001:2015

• Strong interpersonal skills for communication, networking and influencing

• Able to assert self within cross functional team environment

• Highly numerate and creative problem solver

• Strong time management / prioritisation skills to make timely and effective decisions

• Demonstrated manager and leader

• Ability to listen to and influence at a senior level and department team members to build and develop effective working teams

• Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse data and interpret the information effectively to continuously improve the business bottom line

Competitive Salary of £45000 - £50000 PA plus benefits
