Commercial Manager - Procurement, required for a new temporary job in Central Leeds.

Working for an organisation in the centre of Leeds, a new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager within the Procurement team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Category Lead for People related services, the key tasks and deliverables for the assignment will include the following:
• Working with the business to create robust requirements and evaluation criteria for people related services.
• Execution of people related service procurements.
• To support operationalising the new working practices associated with the new procurements and reduce maverick spend via other routes
• To provide advice and guidance on commercial people related matters to work-force, HR, and other related functions within the organisation
• To support the commercial contract management of people related suppliers (which in some cases may include tier 2 suppliers operating via master vendor arrangements.

What you'll need to succeed
The individual must have:
• Either via qualification or via equivalent experience in-depth knowledge of procurement
• Experience of putting in place contracts related to acquiring individuals (permanent recruitment or contingent labour) into an organisation
• Experience of acquiring professional services (legal, consultancy and equivalents) via Crown Commercial Services and other related frameworks
• Knowledge of recruitment and agency related processes and practices
• Experience of dealing with HR and workforce in-house departments as well as directly with the business
• Operational experience of using an electronic sourcing tool (ideally Bravo)

Ideally the individual should have
• Public sector (PCR2015) procurement experience
• Experience in the Health and/or Social Care Sector
• A background in ongoing commercial contract management (and ideally operational management) of such services;
