Interim Commercial Manager, Central Government, 1 Year, inside IR35, £385 per day, East London

Your new company
You will be joining a public sector organisation whose focus is to manage and improve London's transport system. The opportunity will be based in East London and will be for a year long contract to cover someone who is on maternity [link removed] role has been deemed as inside IR35 so you may only be paid through an umbrella company or PAYE.

Your new role
You will be joining a small and friendly team whose focus is to procure various rail related services. You will be responsible for leading the procurement of a number services, including; rail grinding valued at £5m and calibration services at £8m. You will be expected to research the market and choose the best procurement route in order to gain value for money whilst abiding by EU regulations and the organisation's policies and procedures. Once contracts are awarded you will also be required to engage with various suppliers ensuring contracts are achieving set KPI's.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrable procurement experience within the rail sector or engineering. you need to be a confident individual who is able to run with your own procurements with little support and guidance. OJEU knowledge and experience would be preferred but not essential. You must be a team player who is adaptable.
