Your new role
As a Commercial Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing development of a robust, auditable and transparent procurement governance and assurance framework (e.g. Commercial Policy; Contract Strategies) to ensure that goods, services and works are purchased using the most appropriate route to market, that delivers value to the organisations, and ensures compliance with company policies and all applicable statutory regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement effective strategies to improve current processes and performance management within the organisation. You will ensure all processes are current and documented, monitoring how efficient and effective they are. You will be referring to EU procurement directives and tendering above the OJEU threshold.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have experience as a Commercial Manager, and will have worked in a public sector environment. You will have expert knowledge and understanding of EU procurement, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. You should have a passion for this area and be innovative and driven to better processes and be accountable for the work that you do. You will be flexible in your approach to work and be able to take lead on projects. You will be reactive to the needs of the organisation and lead by example demonstrating the key competencies for the role.
