Following a sustained period of aggressive expansion, this iconic FTSE100 brand is undergoing an ambitious Procurement & Commercial transformation and seeks assured Commercial Strategy Lead with excellent negotiation and analytical skillsets to join their growing team in Edinburgh.

With several business-critical ventures ready to launch, you will be joining the business at the opportune moment. Engaging key internal stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities, delivering finalised contracts for key services and leading relationships with crucial suppliers, the role offers a unique depth and breadth to ensure constant professional development.

Commercial Strategy Lead: Finance role overview:
  • Deploy your commercial acumen to identify and leverage opportunities to facilitate further growth and transformation within procurement and wider commercial functions
  • Lead complex negotiations for new and in-train business-critical contracts, ensuring maximum value is delivered to trigger long-term revenue streams
  • Utilise your leadership experience to act as a SME across the organisation and build your own team within a FTSE100 brand

Essential Role Requirements
  • The gravitas, confidence and communication style to influence stakeholders and help them to avoid risk
  • Prior experience working in finance or another regulated industry preferred
  • The ability and experience to run multiple work/project streams
  • Prior experience working in a procurement function and dealing with suppliers/negotiation of new contracts
