One of the worlds leading Logistics services providers is recruiting a Continuous Improvement Manager to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the regional operation, with sites in Warwickshire, Kent and Bridgewater.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Embed a Continuous Improvement Culture which empowers the workforce to deliver value in regional distribution operations with sites in Warwickshire, Kent and Bridgewater
  • Deliver cost and service benefits to internal and external customers
  • Deliver profitability improvement to the regional operations
  • Improve the workplace environment
  • Promote Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy, policies, methods and processes
  • Support the Supply Chain function to deliver BU CI strategy
  • As 'change agent' be central to the delivery of a CI culture at all levels across the regional operations to transform the business CI culture from a top down target driven to a ground up value identification approach
  • Establish a balanced schedule of activity across all operating units and functions. Assist sites in the development and delivery of plans and opportunities identified through the Operations Maturity System (OMS) programme
  • Ensuring Initiative selection and priorities are aligned with site customer & business objectives whilst creating value for the end user customers
  • Prepare and present full justification of savings identified to ensure customer buy in
  • Work to ensure changes to our processes are complimentary to the end customer



The ideal candidate for Continuous Improvement Manager will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous operational experience within a high profile warehousing operation
  • A track record of successfully delivering significant improvements and cost savings
  • Strong exposure to world class lean methodologies such as six sigma, Toyota Production systems would be advantageous
  • A strong stakeholder manager both internally and with the customer
  • Ability to empower others through influence and engagement
  • Able lead a business through significant cultural change
