Contracts Manager required to support growing procurement function in London

A Contracts Manager is required in a global organisation based in London. This company are a global manufacturing business and they pride their work on the innovative technology and IT that they have access to, in order to gain a competitive advantage in the market place. This has been evident with a number of high profile projects they have won amongst competitive bids. With a future packed full of interesting and diverse projects, this Procurement Administrator role promises to be challenging, fast paced, and strategic. With the recent awarding of high-profile contracts this company are not only focused on the London region, but their sights span across Europe.

Your new role
As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing contract variations and disputes between supplier agreements and end site users. You will manage the contracts database and ensure information is stored effectively to support the requirements of all stakeholders across the business. You will lead supplier reviews and ensure they are performing in line with the contract and identify on-going supply chain improvements that will be of value to the business. This will in effect, improve the procurement function as a whole and improve supplier relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be previous experience working with supplier contracts and understand the terms and conditions that you would need to identify within a contract. You must also have a good working knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP. A strong understanding of contract law is vital here to be able to navigate and negotiate effectively.
