Your new company
Our client is a leading UK consumer finance provider that are currently recruiting for a contracts and sourcing specialist to join their procurement team in Leeds.

Your new role
You will be responsible for developing and executing the sourcing category strategies that deliver significant value and ultimately meet category savings targets. You will prepare and lead several Sourcing projects/RFx/negotiations in parallel within the category. Ensure supplier contracts offer adequate protection for the company and enable effective supplier management. You will be the single point of contact for key stakeholders building relationships and integrate with business teams to identify opportunities and guide stakeholders through the Sourcing process.

What you'll need to succeed
You have to be able to work in a fast paced environment on multiple objectives. You need sourcing experience gained within a blue chip environment ideally. You will have demonstrated the ability to deliver cost and cash savings that have impacted bottom line. Experience of negotiating non-standard agreements with the ability to develop a sourcing strategy. You will ideally be educated to degree level, have financial services experience, strong supplier risk understanding and been MICIPS qualified. This position would suit an applicant with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders.
