Customer Logistics Planner:
Are you pro-active? Do you possess a "can do" mind-set?  Would you like to be part of a team improving customer service and speed of response to our customers?
If yes you could join a Commercial Team managing our supply chain across our Engineering technologies - Industrial Applications (including Hydraulics, Factory Automation and Electric Drives) and Mobile Hydraulics.
As a key member of our Customer Logistics Planning team you will take responsibility for the customer order, from receipt through procurement to billing.  
You will work in an environment where associates are empowered and motivated to take ownership of customer issues through to resolution.  
You will provide a superior service, communicating with internal and external customers, and keeping information up to date.  
You will be multi-skilled with knowledge of all processes within Customer Logistics Planning.
You will need a flexible approach to work, be a good communicator with proven PC literacy, an eye for detail and a passion for providing an outstanding service. 
Ideally you will have experience within a manufacturing environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Logistics Planner who will be responsible for the customer order, from receipt through procurement to billing.  
Core responsibilities include: 
Processing of Sales orders in SAP, ensuring customer data is accurate with a focus on the requested delivery date
Use of SAP MRP system to schedule and process purchase orders 
Ensuring adequate delivery of materials for customer orders and Production and Service demands
Expediting of orders and management of customer enquiries regards delivery
Resolving general queries, reviewing invoices and data entry and maintenance within SAP 
Your competencies and qualifications: 
Experience in commercial, logistics or materials management within a manufacturing sector would be ideal 
Pro-active working style and ability to work under pressure 
Experience of working cross departmental/cross functional 
Good ability to manage business relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers 
SAP experience would be beneficial 
Flexible and willing to travel
 
Job Description:
Purpose
To take accountability and responsibility for the customer order, from receipt through procurement to billing.  You will work in an environment where associates are empowered and motivated to take ownership of customer issues.  You will provide a superior service, communicating with internal and external customers, and keeping information up to date.  You will be multi-skilled and flexible, with knowledge of all processes within Customer Logistics Planning. You will support the achievement of business objectives and the provision of superior service in a high quality, timely, cost-effective and resource-efficient way.
Main Objectives and Tasks
1. To build and maintain a good working knowledge of the Customer Logistics Planning process, which includes: sales order management, procurement planning, logistical tasks and stock management practices.  To know the company's products and services, customers, working practices, and the computer software to perform the role efficiently and effectively.
2. To contribute to the overall department objectives and plan by:
" Being flexible and multi-skilled across the entire supply chain process from customer order, from receipt through procurement to billing.
" Being proactive, and taking individual ownership to ensure resolution of, and complete follow up on customer issues.
" Possessing and projecting a "can do" mind-set.  
" Act with the attitude that every order counts and every customer is important.
" Responding to all enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring information is kept up to date.
" Sharing information with others to enable them to fulfil their role.
" Using knowledge, information and skills in planning and working for the department.
" Sharing ideas and suggestions for improvements.
3. To provide a comprehensive, proactive, and effective service in our department, Customer Logistics Planning by:
" Managing orders and enquires utilising Track and Release.
" Processing of sales orders in SAP, ensuring customer data is accurate and up to date with focus on the customer requested date.
" Processing of MRP (materials requirement planning) with focus to procure materials on time, and when the customer requires them.
" Creation of purchase orders on the Bosch Rexroth manufacturing plants.
" Follow up on order confirmations from the plants ensuring on time delivery of components to meet customer requirements.
" Running SAP transactions to ensure accurate and timely confirmation of customer orders.
" Proactively progress orders and/or deliveries and advising internal and external customers of delays, problems and alternatives when required.
" Identifying potential supply and or/delivery problems of components, communication issues and alternatives to relevant parties.
" Producing open order statements (or other information) for agreed customers as required.
" Raising of invoices and ensuring billing documentation is accurate and meets company and customer requirements.
" Creating material master data for components within SAP, ensuring appropriate documentation is completed as required.
" Maintenance of SAP Master Data to ensure accuracy of customer communication
" Managing the complete return process for customers and the plants ensuring costs are allocated appropriately and accurately.
" Resolving all invoices queries for customers and supplying plants, allowing invoices to be cleared efficiently for payment according to the agreed rules.
" Developing and maintaining relationships, ensuring the services provided meet company requirements (e.g. quality, delivery, cost, limitations, business risks) 
" Visiting customers and plants (when required,) providing a proactive response to problems and identifying appropriate solutions where applicable.
" Managing stock level decisions, obsolete components (slow and no moving stock) and their disposal, to ensure optimum stock levels to meet agreed targets, in conjunction with CLP2.
" Collaborating effectively with all internal departments, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
" Be aware of your own performance - monitoring and sharing own progress, taking corrective action as required, participating in relevant training and development and asking for support as required.
" Communicating regularly with other members of the business ensuring rapid two-way flow of information and contribution to effective team working.
4. To ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of financial and physical resources by:
" Maximising the use of available resources and avoiding waste.
" Adhering to standards, policies and procedures.
" Ensuring that own actions fit with and/or enhance others used in the business. 

Qualifications and Specialist Training:
Previous logistics, procurement and/or internal sales experience 
2 A' Levels and/or business administration qualification and/or relevant experience
Conversant in Microsoft Office products
SAP R3 or similar integrated system
Business Warehouse or simular
