Customer Service and Operations Manager - Sheffield - £40,000

Your new company
You will be working for a fast going, industry leading, worldwide manufacturing company based in Sheffield.

Your new role
You will be responsible for continuously driving for improvement in efficiency, accuracy and productivity within the Customer Service, Warehouse and Workshop. Your role will involve assessing and implementing internal methods of improvement such as systems to improve efficiency of the process through from customer service to distribution with a focus on improving UK sales activities, export sales activities, inter-departmental liaison, technical queries and administration of key account orders and logistics. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training and developing colleagues, ensuring reporting functions and the wider organisation are compliant with the latest data protection legislation and regularly reviewing suppliers on pricing and performance against competitors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience within a similar role, experience of implementing new systems and processes, must be able to organise and prioritise with strong project management skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and negotiation with suppliers.

What you'll get in return
This position is full-time, standard working hours are 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. The salary for the role is up to £40,000 depending on experience, generous company bonus scheme and free onsite parking.
