As a Demand Planner you will create and maintain statistical forecast models, using customer market intelligence and forecast information gathered across the business.

  • Develop a demand forecast for respective categories and customers at both a detailed level and multiple levels of aggregation
  • Analyse and evaluate historical sales trends and utilise a collaborative approach to reconcile forecast variances and refine forecast models to reflect updated assumptions
  • Lead dialogue with key internal counterparts and end customers to enable improved accuracy of forecasts and therefore customer delivery
  • Liaise with category management to create, validate and monitor NPI forecast and assumptions
  • Use and maintain SAP APO DP as primary forecast tool to ensure its optimal usage

  • Some knowledge of supply chain processes and systems
  • Good knowledge of inventory management and forecasting principles & logic
  • Comfortable working with and analysing large data sets
  • Strong interpersonal & communications skills
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Experience in ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
  • Accreditation in supply planning, CIPs or other inventory management would be an advantage
  • Experience of working within a multi-site business environment
