The successful candidate needs to have a proven track record in forecasting, forecasting methods and statistical analysis with a strong understanding of business implications as well as strong experience in demand and supply planning and the use of associated software. Solid interpersonal and communication skills at all levels including personnel in international offices. Highly analytical and computer literate with experience of ERP systems, customer EPOS and with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.



Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and maintain demand and replenishment forecasts for all finished product ranges in the company portfolio.
  • Manage and maintain the Demand Planning software
  • Utilise back-office ERP system (SAP) to maintain product information and monitor MRP and production information.
  • Coordinate monthly meetings and collaborate with key internal business functions to obtain and ensure accuracy of information and challenge assumptions used to facilitate demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and utilise system information to optimise stock availability and stock turn for all inventories.
  • Build working relationships with customer supply chain contacts and exchange information in order to optimise service and on shelf availability.
  • Manage good communication links with all production facilities/ colleagues for transport and inbound supply chain planning.
  • Attend Customer sites for planning/merchandising or supplier meetings as and when required.
  • Visit company sites for collaborative meetings as required. Involving European travel.
