Job Purpose

This role will lead the Demand and Availability Planning Teams for EuRoMEA and will have responsibility for developing both the strategies and plans for this function, and also ensuring that the two planning teams are delivering against the agreed objectives set for the function.
The key business processes that are managed within this role are Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Availability Planning and Inventory Management, making sure that we have the right product in the right place at the right time and in the right quantities to meet customer demand within agreed inventory targets and policies .

Main Tasks and Accountabilities

To clearly set the vision and direction for the department and to have clear plans in place that deliver against the vision covering


Has responsibility for managing the development of the Demand Plans for the Region and leading the Regional Consensus process which delivers cross-functional alignment and approval. Plans need to ensure that we are able to service our customer requirements while staying within agreed inventory policies through a team of 10 people.
Is responsible for managing the process that converts the agreed demand into production requirements from our plants and making sure the product is in the right DC at the right time to meet customer orders through a team of 14 people.

The development and the consistent delivery across the region of planning best practices working closely with the Global Supply Chain Development Team.
To build and develop a high performing Team capable of leveraging the processes and technology which is being designed for both today and the future.

Key Relationships
A key part of this role is the ability to work effectively with a number of business functions ranging from the Executive Leadership Team, Sales, Marketing and the manufacturing organisation via the three Supply Planning hubs to develop the demand plans and inventory profile to service our business successfully.
This role has responsibility for leading the Regional Consensus process which aligns Supply and Demand across the Region, working closely with the Region's Leadership Team which includes Managing Director, Country Managers and the VP's of Regional Marketing and Brand Activation.
As our business processes and tools transition to the next generation, one of the key elements of this role will be to understand and leverage these new capabilities, using toolkits being developed.
This role has the responsibility for managing the complexity related to 25 Countries and 19 Languages.

  • Educational background:
  • Minimum degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Professional experience:
  • Extensive experience in demand planning and associated responsibilities
  • Ideally, experience in a Supply Chain based leadership role
  • Considerable People Management experience
