EMEA Category Manager - £60000 - £65000 – Integrated Facilities Management

A leading UK company seeks a well-versed Category Manager in Integrated Facilities Management to report directly to the EMEA Head of Strategic Sourcing. The successful individual will develop a deep understanding of operational service definitions and cost data to create benchmark pricing in order to optimise the cost and quality of the company’s services for clients and business.

Responsibilities of the EMEA Category Manager:
  • Sourcing appropriate service providers and suppliers to ensure the company has the best mix available across the region to deliver value to their clients

  • Executing best practices and innovation and initiatives through to the account managers

  • Accountability for creating strategic solutions for specific commodities and client accounts pursuits, procurement event planning, RFP/quotation management, and bid analysis

  • Liaising with internal client governance teams for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation and compliance
  • Supporting the delivery of IFM Services, which include, but are not limited to Soft, Catering, Vending, Hard and Specialist Engineering Services, and Security Services.

Characteristics of the EMEA Category Manager:
  • Tangible evidence of business savings and revenue targets

  • Organisation skills and strong analytical ability required

  • A competency in financial modelling, feasibility studies and totally cost of ownership analysis

  • Experience working with suppliers across the EMEA region
