My client is a global leading professional services and investment management organisation that ambitious in their plans for growth and continually looking at ways to diversify. As a business they truly value procurement and there is a lot of opportunity for the EMEA Marketing Procurement Manager to have an impact on the business.


The key responsibilities for the EMEA Marketing Procurement Manager are:-
  • Responsible for regional marketing category strategy development, execution and category performance of all category related activities
  • Continuously drives marketing category opportunity agenda and self-sufficiently identifies, agrees and executes these projects
  • Accountable for creating strategic solution for specific commodity/service requirements, procurement event planning, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis and recommendations, liaison with internal stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation and compliance.
  • To create and manage the marketing category project calendar, lead category events, bid process, commercial evaluation, recommendations, contract document preparation, functional reviews
  • Rationalizes supply base and develops clear strategic supply partner framework and maintains this framework at senior supplier level
  • Using Global, Regional and Country, market and industry intelligence to identify and qualify new suppliers and trends to support the business and delivery of services.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implement new policies and procedures, including rationalisation of legacy policies and procedures
  • Actively engage in and support the use of e-procurement strategy, methodology and deployment


The successful EMEA Marketing Procurement Manager will:-
  • Demonstrate capability to strategically develop and rationalise a category portfolio of up to £250 million
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively across a regional/global spectrum with consideration of cultural differences and local requirements
  • Have the capability to run 3-4 major procurement projects in parallel
  • Have the ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions
  • Exhibit exceptional relationship management and conflict management capabilities
  • demonstrate proven track record of working in an environment where customer needs are variable, at short notice & the ability to assess opportunities at speed
  • show experience of implementing relatively complex supply chain solutions; using these to drive out value from an end user perspective
  • Innovate – ability to shape new ideas that deliver business value and drive these through to implementation
  • Be customer driven - understands the customer needs that will support delivery of the business strategy and implements these where appropriate
