My client a major player within the FMCG space and operates on a global scale.

As a world leader in the ambient food sector, they create enthusiasm among their customers through quality, innovation and passion.


As a European Supply Planner based in Derbyshire, you will be responsible for supply and availability of a variety of manufactured brands across the UK and Ireland market ensuring that demand is met in full at the best possible freshness.

You’ll be working with key stakeholders internally and externally, ensuring that stock is positioned appropriately across the network; striking the right balance between maximising availability, capacity constraints and product freshness. You’ll be accountable for the integrity of supply planning data with SAP and will be required to produce monthly and weekly performance reports covering the end to end supply chain.


Not content with the status quo you’ll strive for excellence, always looking to improve processes and eliminate delays. A proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely as well as strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and strong working relationships quickly with stakeholders are also vital in this role, as be confident in your approach and have the necessary influencing skills to question and challenge when necessary.

To be successful in this role will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working with complex, multi-tier planning systems in the FMCG environment. You’ll need excellent numerical and analytical skills and be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access software packages.

You will need to be proactive – working collaboratively with colleagues in demand planning to ensure that potential surplus stock is managed effectively as well as with colleagues in central planning to understand and clearly communicate constrained supply lines covering the maximum planning horizon.

Job Offer

The successful candidate for the European Supply Planner role will be offered c. £35,000.

In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer a bonus, private health care, life assurance and company pension as well as great on site facilities including subsidised restaurant and free parking.

Some occasional travel to London will be required.
