A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Export Coordinator to join a Global Manufacturing Business based in the Sheffield area. Please note this is a 13 month FTC to cover maternity leave. As Export Coordinator you will provide support for the Logistics Team by ensuring adherence to compliance requirements, having the ability to respond to the needs of the business and embrace change.

Global Manufacturing Business based in the Sheffield area.


As Export Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
  • Oversight of shipping and invoicing documentation for all export shipments in line with corporate and legal compliance, whilst ensuring swift customs clearance.
  • Accurate logging of shipments to ensure that all data is entered correctly, approving invoices required for payment and dealing with any enquiries.
  • Responsible for checking all shipping and export documents for accuracy of data.
  • Responsible for ensuring that products are shipped against the correct license and that permission to ship is obtained.
  • Chase and obtain the following documents, updating the shipping log as required. Ensure that documents are retained and scanned in line with the document retention policy.
  • Responsible for reporting KPI’s on a daily, monthly and weekly basis.
  • Responsible for managing the monthly transport budget.


To be considered for the role of Export Coordinator you must be able to comfortably demonstrate:
  • A high level of computer literacy, specifically for both Word & Excel.
  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of export compliance specifically relating to air/sea/road freight.
  • Previous experience within a similar role and remit.
  • Experience of attending meeting and communicating with individuals across all levels of the business.
  • Previous experience within a fast moving environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure and against time critical deadlines.
  • A confident, flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated with a can-do attitude.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £25,000 dependent on experience.

PLEASE NOTE: This is initially a 13 month fixed term contract.
