Finance Service Improvement Director & Manager (x2 positions) – Iconic FTSE 100 – London or Berkshire - £60,000 – 90,000 + Excellent Benefits

FTSE 30 giant seeks two passionate Service and Continuous Improvement experts to deliver a massive capability shift globally to improve operational performance, uniting teams across the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe.

The organisation has historically outsourced major works so does not currently have the skills internally, so this is a huge opportunity for two enthusiastic individuals to create and shape the agenda, deliver to it, and then receive recognition for doing so.

As Finance Service Improvement Director & Manager you will:-
  • Develop multi-year FS strategy, delivering change and transformation to drive global functions towards best-in-class
  • Have full accountability to the Finance Leadership team including VP / Heads of
  • Establish process improvement capabilities in a multi-functional shared services environment using Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen type methodologies, working across Finance, Supply Chain, upstream P2P business units and beyond
  • Build a global network of practitioners, engaging with key stakeholders to identify important figures that need to be involved, and coaching & upskilling them to improve people capabilities
  • Focus front line activity across the globe, ensuring that skilled individuals flow to the demand and support the service line owners to improve their operations
  • Establish governance processes and provide performance management of third party service delivery (such as Genpact)

Required background & traits:-
  • Degree, Prince 2 and Lean Six Sigma qualifications preferred, though not essential
  • Proven ability to transform operational performance ideally within a multi-functional shared service environment
  • Impressive track record of quick progression within your career to date, proving your capacity to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Huge ambition, enthusiasm and passion, with a knack for solving complex problems
