FLEET PROCUREMENT CATEGORY MANAGER – LONDON – GLOBAL BPO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM - £60K-70K + PACKAGE

My client is a multinational BPO Consultancy which has a strong focus on business strategy, IT solutions and Procurement solutions. With offices in offer 50 countries they are in an excellent position to expand their team and urgently looking to recruit a fleet procurement category manager to work across a newly acquired key account.

Working with the client you will liaise with senior stakeholders and the wider business unit to gain an understanding of their fleet requirements. Designing a sourcing strategy you will implement and manage the end to end sourcing process to provide efficient savings through contract negotiations and supplier consolidation. You must showcase best in class procurement techniques to ensure that agreed savings targets are hit. Excellent communication and leadership qualities will be vitally important.

The following skills are vitally important should you wish to be successful in this role:
  • Excellent in depth procurement knowledge of the fleet category across sub-categories including OEMs, vehicle leasing and fleet management
  • End to end procurement experience across areas including tendering, strategic sourcing and contracts negotiations
  • Commercial acumen and an excellent entrepreneurial spirit
  • Prior consultancy experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills coupled with good communication and negotiation skills
  • Degree and CIPS desirable
  • 100% flexibility on travel
