A market leading travel company seeks a Procurement Lead, specifically for the FM category, to add to their ambitious procurement team. The multi million pound award winning organisation is growing year on year, and as this growth continues, the procurement function will become increasingly vital in the company’s overall strategy.

The position will have an exceptional level of autonomy, and you will be responsible for a huge overall spend that will continue to grow year on year as the procurement function carries on expanding. The role entails both hard FM and soft FM, covering a variety of sub-categories, and you will be responsible for the day to day running of the category, as well as making critical strategic decisions.

As an FM Category Lead, you will be:
  • In complete control of all end to end FM procurement processes, ensuring that you are going above and beyond key external stakeholder and client requirements
  • Creating RFI’s and RFP’s to support a range of exciting multi million pound procurement projects that will play a major part in the national procurement strategy
  • Responsible for building long lasting relationships with internal stakeholders, to ensure procurement is a crucial part of the overall business strategy
  • Working alongside senior management, advising and implementing on strategic procurement decisions
  • Providing your expert commercial support and advice to the entire procurement function, to ensure the continued success of the procurement function

As an FM Category Lead, you will have:
  • Strong procurement experience
  • A proven track record of success in the Facilities Management sector
  • Exceptional negotiating skills, with a proven track record of negotiating with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong supplier relationship management skills
