A UK leading transport provider seeks an FM Procurement Specialist to join their rapidly expanding procurement team. The company is aggressively growing in their market, which opens the door for you to quickly accelerate your procurement career in a nationally recognised organisation. The role will give you plenty of autonomy, but will also allow you to learn from more senior members of the FM procurement team, therefore your decisions will have a key impact on the organisation’s procurement strategy, but you will be constantly developing yourself as an FM procurement professional.

As an FM Procurement Specialist you will:
  • Be involved in cradle to grave procurement processes, working with key internal and external stakeholders ensuring you are providing a top class service to your clients
  • Work on huge multi-million pound tenders that will have a major impact on the success of the overall procurement strategy
  • Learn from vastly experienced, proven FM procurement professionals in order for you to become an expert in your field, and accelerate your career as quickly as possible
  • Play a key role in managing key existing supplier relationships, as well as being heavily involved in negotiating with new suppliers to benefit the overall procurement strategy
  • Have a high level of interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders, where you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decision making from day one

As an FM Procurement Specialist, you will have:
  • Some prior experience in procurement in the FM category
  • A degree or equivalent (desired but not essential)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • The ability to challenge senior stakeholders and influence top level decision making
  • The enthusiasm and drive to excel in your procurement career

What’s in it for you?
  • Excellent basic salary + exceptional bonus and package
  • Unparalleled career progression opportunities
  • The chance to have a nationally recognised brand on your CV
  • Opportunities for flexible working

If you are an ambitious procurement professional and want to further your career in a fast growing organisation in an exciting market, this is a great role for you.

If you want to find out more about the role, package, actual company or any other information, please send your CV to [email removed]
