The Supply Planner will be tasked with focusing on supply planning of allocated brands for the UK and France throughout their product lifecycle. The role requires a proactive approach and the ability to deal with ambiguous information which can change at short notice.

Client Details

A leading global FMCG brand based in Kent; this fast paced and progressive business are well established within their field and are an employer of choice in the Kent area. A key division of a larger group, they are progressing year on year which looks set to continue for the foreseeable future. Due to expansion they are now seeking a Supply Planner to join their Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain team.

Description
  • Supply planning and monthly forecasting of allocated brands for the UK and France
  • Replenishment orders and supply schedules for allocated items in the UK and France
  • Working closely with the Buyers to integrate new products into the supply plan efficiently
  • Preparing supply plans, raising purchase orders and liaising proactively with suppliers
  • Using SAP and other sources to minimise obsolescence and maximise customer service
  • Monitoring stock levels against inventory targets and working with the Planning Manager to optimise inventory
  • Liaising with co-packers and tracking inventory
  • Ownership of purchase order management and inbound deliveries on SAP
  • Working to support and develop the S&OP process; producing action plans and communicating benefits

Profile
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Excellent communication skills written and spoken in English and French
  • Exposure to Supply Planner or similar commercial role
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent organisation skills and proven attention to detail
  • High level of computer literacy; Spreadsheets, databases, presentations etc.
