Working as the General Manager for a leading Chilled Warehousing business based in Bristol up to £75,000.

Your new company
This leading Logistics and Distribution group are seeking a General Manager to aid in the growth and development of their Bristol Depot. Having recently acquired another Logistics business, the group has started to transition through a lot of change resulting in this outstanding opportunity.


Your new role
This General Manager within the Logistics and Distribution industry will require you have gained the experience of managing both Warehousing operations and Transportation operations. Within this position, you will be directly managing 5 managers and indirectly over 200. With the business currently going through a vast amount of transformation, it will be your duty to lead the team through the implementation stages whilst ensuring that business targets are still consistently beaten.


What you'll need to succeed
You must have gained the experience of operating at a General Manager (or equivalent) within a Warehousing business (with both Warehousing and Transportation managed in house). Ideally this experience will have come from a chilled foods environment however having worked in the broader FMCG sector you will have relevant transferable skills for this organisation.
Having demonstrable examples of how you've previously developed your managerial pipe line will be crucial to your success in this vacancy. You must have also gained the experience of creating budgets and management of budgets to meet commercial targets.


What you'll get in return
As the General Manager for this leading Logistics and Warehousing business, you will be paid an annual salary of up to £75,000. In addition to this basic salary, you will be entitled to 33 days of annual leave (Including bank holidays), entry into the company private pension scheme, bonus scheme entry and many others. At the General Manager level, you are also entitled to a company car with all company mileage able to be processed through expenses.
