Our client are seeking a proven General Manager to lead a fully composite site in Northamptonshire.

Client Details

Leading third party logistics business


As General Manager you will oversee an effective and efficient operation that is planned and implemented in a safe environment whilst achieving key performance indicators and budgetary requirements without impacting on customer service.

You will be required to ensure that improvement initiatives are communicated and integrated into the depot operations.

This Northamptonshire based role requires an ambitious individual, who possesses drive, determination and has the ability to progress within the business. The General Manager role is critical to the site strategic development plans and as such, the individual must have both a solid logistics background and be able to demonstrate significant achievements, both in terms of site development and cost management. A strong leader, the individual will create a culture of success within the team, challenging and coaching to exceed expectations. The General Manager will work with the Commercial team to ensure smooth implementations of new business to the site, providing technical guidance to the Commercial team where necessary, to ensure that new contracts are implemented and the move to business as usual is seamless, with no risk, either financially or to service levels.
