Global Procurement Category Lead – Industry Leading Pharmaceutical Company – Buckinghamshire/ Middlesex - £38,000- £48,000 + 10% Bonus + Fast-tracked Progression



Market-leading Pharmaceutical Major is looking for a Global Procurement Category Lead to join their global, best-in-class procurement function with a clear path to progression within the business. Famed for their innovative biotech practise, the organisation are targeting a high-calibre individual to partner with executive stakeholders, devising long-term strategies for various Indirect Procurement Categories – in line with the firm’s expansion. This is a unique opportunity to gain full exposure to a truly global environment, in a company with a centralised procurement function.



As Global Procurement Category Lead you will:-
  • Manage the full end to end procurement of certain indirect procurement categories as well as some direct procurement categories on a project by project basis
  • Interface with Senior Level Stakeholders, and high-profile suppliers from the outset of your career in the business
  • Have the opportunity to travel internationally to global suppliers and vendors and develop lasting relationships within one of the most exciting industries in the world



Global Procurement Category Lead Required Background:-
  • Some Indirect Procurement Sourcing experience ideally with some IT Procurement, however strong direct procurement candidates will also be considered
  • Clear evidence of devising and implementing category plans in a strategic driven procurement environment
  • Degree + Working towards CIPS (beneficial but not essential)
