Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, the Procurement Manager role is part of the Group Procurement team. The primary responsibility is to lead the Procurement management of a defined Category through the application of Total Cost Management principles.

The role covers all procurement activities related to the Category and is covering all entities globally.

Client Details

My client is a leading airline catering business exceeding a £3 billion annual turnover who are seeking a Global Procurement Manager to join their Group Procurement team.


Defining and delivering key objectives for the category under scope in order to implement overall Category plan, address all business requirements, generate benefits, deliver positive change and achieve savings target as well as direct involvement in strategic projects and activities.

Defining annual Budget and report actual category performance monthly by project against budget

Defining and delivering a Procurement Category strategy through a deep analysis of key elements of the Category, including;
  • Procurement spend and supply base analysis
  • Stakeholder analysis and business requirements
  • Supply market positioning
  • Supply base assessment
  • Supplier financial analysis
  • RFI/RFP/RFQ/E-auctions
  • Negotiation
  • SLA
  • Strategic options & objective decision making

  • Knowledge of developing new Procurement strategies
  • Delivery of a Procurement Category Strategy
  • Complex Stakeholder Management
  • Negotiation
  • Project Management
  • Procurement within the Food & Beverage Industry
