A global imaging and electronics company are looking for a Group Procurement Manager to provide procurement management expertise to selected business activity for the organisations including managing RFP process, managing contract implementation / transition, and post implementation supplier management, benefit tracking and reporting on contract compliance.

Key responsibilities: .
  • Procurement project management experience across a range of indirect categories to manage projects through the entire procurement process
  • Experience to provide coherent and reasoned recommendations on procurement projects to board members.
  • Financial experience (or high level of numeracy) to implement benefits tracking on a range of projects post implementation
  • Gathering of cost baseline data during project inception stage and full ownership of the ‘manage to award of tender’ from a financial perspective
  • Strong communication skills to implement and communicate benefits at senior level both at Group level and within OpCos
  • Projects range in size from €1m to €20m+
  • Detailed understanding of best practice procurement processes and ability to implement these processes across numerous functions Manager who manages the execution of short/medium term demand plans

Key requirements:
  • Multi-category procurement experience
  • Proven experience of tracking benefits on project or procurement activity
  • Proven experience of implementation of large projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to manage cross functional colleagues both within and from outside the Legal team
  • Ability to manage conflict
  • Demonstrate strong influencing skills through change management on specific projects
  • Ability to present to wide audiences including senior management
  • Ability to supervise junior member(s) of the procurement team
  • Strong skills with Microsoft office tools including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
