The Group Supply Chain Director role is a new role within Regatta to support the business as continues to expand and develop it’s OMNI channel operation across the globe. As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the end to end supply chain across demand planning, inventory management, capacity and supply planning, global logistics and stock merchandising teams.  We are looking for someone with the intellect and gravitas to support the business strategically, with the ability to engage with key stakeholders with a positive manner within a highly complex and fast paced environment. You will implement a “best in class supply chain” to optimise supply chain and achieve excellent service levels.

This is a high level and demanding role but hugely rewarding for the right person; they offer the potential to make a significant impact and have substantial influence on the future success of an already outstanding business.  

As Supply Chain Director you will be responsible for the following:

  • Implement an end to end supply chain strategy to achieve key business objectives and support aggressive growth plans.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to implement improved supply chain processes to maximise product availability, optimise inventory levels and ensure excellent service levels are achieved. 
  • Implement demand planning processes to drive forecast accuracy and improve inventory management to increase stock turns across the group.
  • Work with the Group Merchandising Director to lead merchandising functions to support stock allocation and develop range planning processes.
  • Oversee global logistics processes to improve product flows from suppliers through distribution, through to the end customer.
  • Implement LEAN / C.I. initiatives across the business to streamline the end to end process to reduce waste across the supply chain.
  • Lead, coach and develop teams to encourage succession planning and people development. 

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Degree calibre and ideally qualified in a relevant technical discipline with a proven track record leading a global supply chain function within a retail / ecommerce, clothing / fashion environment.
  • A proven track record implementing a supply chain strategy with positive results.
  • Must have an analytical and strategic mind set, with the ability to interpret plans into reality to fully engage key stakeholders within the business to implement change.
  • Must be an aspirational leader and someone who can take the lead to run a supply chain function with an entrepreneurial mindset to fit into the business culture.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to create new ideas to support reaching and interacting with customers to achieve excellent service levels.
  • The ability to lead change with a positive and engaging approach with an enjoyment of identifying and developing talent.
  • The ability to motivate and guide others to achieve, set objectives by gaining commitment and providing direction and recognition.
