Head of Category - Indirect job in Chippenham, competitive salary, permanent contract

Hays Procurement are pleased to be assisting a leading organisation in Chippenham in the recruitment of a Head of Category - Indirect to join their busy team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for directing and managing multiple categories of 3rd party expenditure including HR, Facilities & Professional Services, manage a team of category managers, as well as identifying key areas of opportunity and business requirements, maximising benefits, added value and returns.
You will be required to build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders by working on a cross functional basis at all levels to ensure your team delivers end to end sourcing solutions within the relevant categories.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience of developing and delivering sourcing strategies for complex or high value/risk categories of indirect spend, including HR, Agency Labour, Professional Services and Capex, strong team leadership experience as well as excellent stakeholder engagement across all levels of an organisation.
