This is a newly-created Head of Fleet Operations position at a leading supplier of world class meat, poultry and game to high-end restaurants and prestigious corporate events - and one of the 100 fastest growing private companies in the UK. The business is seeking an experienced, senior fleet management professional. This is a newly created role within the business as result of continued exceptional business growth.

The Opportunity

You will have overall fleet management responsibility with a focus on improvement and change management to help the company adapt to the challenges of maintaining a first class service to customers within a fast-growing business. Broadly speaking, your role will comprise of strategic management, change management, continuous improvement and staff management.

You will oversee a department of approximately 50 personnel, including drivers and an experienced management team. Alongside responsibilities such as negotiating fleet contracts and overseeing budgets, you will also look at how the team can integrate more effectively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Further responsibilities will include 3rd party distribution management oversight and the enhanced use of FTS data.
