This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain & Procurement to lead the strategy across £100m worth of materials for a global manufacturing business. The role will also include planning, inventory management, logistics and after market servicing. There is a team of 10 to manage, whilst developing key relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Based in Weybridge, the business are a leading manufacturing business with a global client base. They create, develop and produce a number of key products that are globally well known. They use their wide knowledge to help develop products that are both technical and innovative and help support thousands of businesses around the world.


The Role
  • Manage the end to end supply chain (Planning, Inventory, Logistics, Warehousing & after market services)
  • Negotiate with suppliers (raw materials & spare parts) in order to get the best price - £100 m spend Developing key supplier relationships, negotiating on major contracts and driving efficiency.
  • Maintain and develop key internal relationships.
  • Managing risk, ensuring quality and enabling a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement fixed contracts and Service level agreements with key vendors and contractors, ensure review processes and KPI’s are in place.


  • Proven track record within supply chain and procurement, ideally 10 years +
  • Experience of leading and managing complex projects
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Educated to Degree level or Equivalent
  • Can demonstrated track record of success in procurement within the Engineering/ Construction environment

  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong time management, planning and prioritising skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and achieve buy-in from internal and external key stakeholders
  • Excellent Negotiation skills
  • Versatile and adaptable
  • Great problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Available to travel around Europe, UK and Ireland when required

Job Offer

£60.000 to £70,000 salary + bonus and benefits
