Sea Freight Customer Service Specialist - £22-24k Pro Rata - Maternity Cover - Belfast
Your new company Your new company is a progressive global freight forwarding company that are looking for an experienced individual with freight forwarder experience to join their team covering a maternity cover. The position will be for 6-12 months with the potentially opportunity for full time employment for the right individual.
Your new role Your new role will be to work as a part of the sea freight operational team handling the operational side of freight forwarding in accordance to time schedules and requirements from the customers. Your duties will involve implementing the operations, keeping up to date and maintaining compliance requirements, escalate any operational weaknesses to the relevant team, keep up to date with the competition within the market and identify any points of operational weakness, support any sea freight related questions and requirements.
What you'll need to succeed To succeed you will need proven experience of freight forwarding within the area of sea freight, a high level of communication skills both written as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer services and meet customer requirements. Excellent organisation skills and IT literacy to enable you to utilise various technology systems for managing sea freight processes.
