After record-breaking achievements in the pharmaceutical industry, this well-established blue-chip organisation seeks a confident and diligent Indirect Category Manager to spearhead the transformation of the indirect procurement function. Working within the Global procurement team, you will be exposed to senior stakeholders across the world, using your expertise to successfully deliver change management projects across all the indirect categories. With an outstanding reputation for career progression, you will have the opportunity to progress to a senior position within a couple of years.

As an Indirect Procurement Category Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for the alignment of strategies across all the categories, ensuring that the company works more efficiently
  • Take part in the day to day contract negotiations
  • Implement best-in-class strategic sourcing practices
  • Work across all categories of indirect spend including marketing, IT, HR and professional services

As an Indirect Procurement Category Manager, you will have:
  • A proven track record of success working in an indirect procurement capacity
  • Degree/CIPS
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
