The function assists and provides support to the Indirect Procurement Manager to ensure that all systems and procedures are followed in respect to procurement processes, manages relevant master data and works cross-functionally with the all stakeholders.

Description



The Role
  • Reporting & Analytics for the indirect procurement function
  • Daily conversion of Purchase Requisitions
  • Ensuring compliance of No PO No Pay with internal & external stakeholders
  • Manage creation, validation & maintenance of supplier catalogues
  • Working with the business and suppliers to solve issues at the root and prevent recurrence
  • Validation of procurement master data, supplier set up
  • Assisting Manager with various ad-hoc projects and day to day duties
  • Update and maintain central contract database
  • Support Manager in tender document preparation
  • Investigating non conformance with suppliers e.g timely resolution of price queries and or quantity quires in liaison with the Procurement Manager, supplier and / or Purchase Ledger



Profile





The Person
  • An understanding of procurement operation processes
  • Experience in procurement operations
  • Excellent communication skills written/verbally, with the ability to deal at different levels
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Good understanding of all Microsoft systems, especially excel (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative as well as integrate into the wider team
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of demand and prioritise accordingly & effectively





Job Offer

My client is looking to offer a base salary of up to £24k + package for the ideral candidate
