Your new company
Working for a leading and well-established UK employer, this firm has grown massively over the years and just established a new collaboration with a US firm which will promote expansion in the coming months. Due to new projects emerging, they are seeking a new Buyer to join their expanding procurement team on a fixed term 24 month contract with the view to turn permanent upon performance.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for maintaining price sheets whilst placing orders for packaging and raw ingredients using internal MRP/ERP software. The Buyer will stay in consistent communication with both UK and globally based suppliers to keep track of material lead times and delivery schedules whilst focusing on cutting costs on materials by strategic negotiation. Also, you be involved with supplier bench marking projects by forecasting for demand schedules alongside running weekly reports on expenditure and supplier performance.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous years’ experience in a high volume procurement or supply chain role will lead to success along with a desirable background in the FMCG industry. Also, you will be IT literate with knowledge of raising purchase orders and material planning on MRP/ERP software with further ability to negotiate costs with key suppliers and work on your own initiative.

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will join a growing business with ever expanding departments which always presents opportunities for employees to progress internally. You will be rewarded with a fully negotiable salary based on the NI market average, flexible working hours, inclusion to a company wide benefits scheme, free onsite parking, employer pension contributions and comprehensive internal training.
