1st Executive are retained by a global household-name pharmaceutical company, who are looking to bring on board an Interim Demand Planner on an initial 12 month contract. The role involves driving improvements in forecasting accuracy and ensuring current stock and inventory. This is fantastic opportunity to develop your demand and supply career within a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment, sitting within a mature team.

  • The role sits within the Demand Forecasting Team
  • Ensure inventory levels
  • Drive improvements in forecasting accuracy
  • Develop plans for over 7000+ SKU's
  • Reduce days out of stock and OTIF
  • Support delivery of KPI's
  • BI Reporting
  • Use of SAP APO
  • Lower working capital
  • Drive business decision-making and forecast transparency/functional accountability
  • Contributes to strategic global and regional projects that will use demand forecasting to achieve Inventory Reduction, ERP, Supply Chain Transformation.

Required Characteristics/Skills:
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly preferred
  • SAP APO experience is mandatory
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within Demand Planning/Forecasting
  • Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Good knowledge of supply chain forecasting software systems and processes
  • Demonstrated capability to manage complex projects with short timelines
