Our client is a specialist manufacturer who requires a Demand, Supply Chain and Forecasting Manager to support the ordering and supply of products for the business. This position takes overall responsibility for the production of a full forecast & demand plan for all products in the company and associated Brand ranges.

Manufacturer based in Stafford


Key Duties and Responsibilities:
*Create and maintain demand and replenishment forecasts for all finished product ranges in the company portfolio.
*Manage and maintain the Demand Planning software
*Utilise back-office ERP system (SAP) to maintain product information and monitor MRP and production information.
*Coordinate monthly meetings and collaborate with key internal business functions to obtain and ensure accuracy of information and challenge assumptions used to facilitate demand forecasts and run S&OP Strategy
*Monitor and utilise system information to optimise stock availability and stock turn for all inventories.
*Build working relationships with customer supply chain contacts and exchange information in order to optimise service and on shelf availability.
*Manage good communication links with all production facilities/ colleagues for transport and inbound supply chain planning.
*Attend Customer sites for planning/merchandising or supplier meetings as and when required.


The successful candidate needs to have a proven track record in forecasting, forecasting methods, stock purchasing, inventory control and statistical analysis with a strong understanding of business implications as well as strong experience in demand and supply planning and the use of associated software. Solid interpersonal and communication skills at all levels including personnel in international offices. Highly analytical and computer literate with experience of SAP systems, and with advanced Microsoft Excel skill.
