1st Executive are retained by a global FTSE100 Manufacturing organisation, who are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a global track record to join the existing function on an initial 6 month contract. This will see you leading and implementing global marketing strategy for some key product launches.



Job Summary:

The position is responsible for developing, leading and implementing the global marketing strategy in our launches into specific indications and pipeline for products. Key duties will include the development and implementation of brand, channel and customer propositions and messaging together with the on-going tracking of brand metrics to ensure successful achievement of the brand growth ambition. These marketing programmes will include brand campaigns, channel strategies, digital content plans as well as customer programmes, key opinion leader engagement and loyalty building initiatives such as events. The role will also be expected to identify industry education, evidence and health economics & outcome research gaps and opportunities for the brand as well as ensuring effective communication and commercialisation of the outputs.



Key Experience:

Brand Management
  • Leads and delivers overall brand management.
  • Works closely with regions and markets in order to create and implement new channel strategies, propositions and new target customers.
  • Works closely with clinical, medical education and health economics & outcome research teams to identify, develop and deliver new indications for the brand and strengthen existing ones.
  • Works closely with the global product team in order to drive the successful commercialisation of new products.
  • Leadership and management of digital marketing channels for industry professionals, customers and providers.

Market Landscape
  • Anticipates the needs of the market by understanding key dynamics including industry trends, delivery and payment.
  • Builds insights, knowledge and understanding of global, regional and local systems and market dynamics.
  • Leads the formulation of strategies to respond.

Voice of the Customer
  • Builds insights and knowledge of the customer and market and communicates this internally. Creates and drives successful customer orientated marketing plans.
  • Assesses the brand and defines the brand and commercial needs.

Market Support:
  • Anticipates and proactively provides support and expertise to the regions and local markets to ensure successful commercial execution of brand strategy and marketing initiatives



Required Experience:
  • Degree in either a business, medical or science discipline is required.
  • Experience in a marketing role that includes new product commercialisation, downstream marketing experience and sales tool implementation.
  • Marketing experience across countries is preferred.
  • Experience of digital marketing is an advantage

Important: International travel required (up to 25%), as well as frequent travel to other UK sites. Driving license required for business travel
