1st Executive are currently working with a FTSE 100 Pharmaceutical Organisation who are looking for an IT Procurement Manager to join their best in class procurement team.

The role will work across the IT sub-categories including; software, services, hardware, telecoms, and infrastructure and working very closely with senior stakeholders up to VP and SVP Level to deliver transformational value. You will be negotiating with top tier IT vendors such as Oracle, IBM, HP and offshore vendors such as Wipro, Cognizant & TCS.

Key Requirements:
  • Significant experience of managing and working with IT strategic suppliers in a global corporate environment
  • Demonstrable expertise of supporting the development and implementation of IT category strategies
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating with top tier IT vendors i.e. Oracle, IBM, HP and experience of working with offshore vendors such as Wipro, Cognizant & TCS
  • Running complex end-to-end tenders from requirements gathering though to contracting
  • Good IT contracting knowledge, ability to negotiate IT contract working with legal teams and other relevant parties
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, experience of working well with senior leaders at the SVP and VP level.
  • High learning agility and dealing with ambiguity with a proven track record of delivering value and significant strategies.
  • Great communication skills, knowing how to win stakeholder's hearts and minds but also ability to work well as part of a team
