Set in rural Surrey this organisation have a beautiful setting for their offices and offer fantastic on site facilities for all staff.

Your new role

Supports the Procurement Officer (SBS / non-Medical-Surgical) in the delivery of an efficient and order processing service to meet the non-pay requirements of the Trust. Manages the Junior Buyers.
  • Responsible for the day to day purchasing of a range products and services for the Trust.
  • Processes routine & non-routine orders for both high and low value quotes.
  • Investigates and solves supply related problems e.g. deliveries, invoices etc. reports delivery discrepancies and resolves over and under deliveries.
  • Meets with company representatives, keeps abreast of new product developments and assesses where areas of cost savings may be achieved.
  • Recommends sources of supply and savings opportunities

What you'll need to succeed
  • Purchasing experience
  • Good MS office and some database maintenance I.T ability
  • Analytical skills
  • CIPS desirable
  • Some negotiation skills
