Tactical procurement position working on a large international government programme.
Join an interesting government programme with a pipeline of procurements circa £600million. Based in central London, the contract will be initially until the end of June 2019 with further extension, and outside of scope for IR35.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading end to end procurements, to procure technical expertise and advice. It’s a very tactical position, you will be Bravo and Award to issue tender documents, and facilitating Q&A with suppliers etc.
You will be a procurement professional who can demonstrate:
Public sector procurement experience (preferably in central government)
Experience using Bravo/Award to run procurements
Experience of OJEU procurement
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current SC clearance is required
