International Trade Documentation Officer role based in Belfast

Our client is looking to fill a role for a International Trade Documentation Officer

Your new role
Your new role will be to assist various clients with the processing of documentation for trade, this will range from supporting exporters with document certification and assisting with shipping and logistics requirements. The role will also involve passing on knowledge to other staff and acting as a point of knowledge. Your duties will include processing export documentation such as certificates of origin, checking and verifying of Arab, British and Egyptian certificates of origin, completing and verifying Carnets, Eur1's, ATR's and E certs. Additionally you will research and identify other customers, create a database of key export markers, and be involved in report writing and general administration. You will also be involved in supporting various international trade events by preparing invite lists and phoning various companies to present invites.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience dealing with customs and creating customs documentation for imports and exports, at least 2 years experience or educated to degree level. Experience and a high level of proficiency in microsoft office and CRM software packages. Ideally you will also have a genuine interest in promoting and assisting Northern Irish Exporters, excellent communication skills, an ability to work on your own initiative and strong organisation skills.
