Inventory Manager North East Circa £35,000 + bonus
Our client is an award winning specialist FMCG organisation, with an exceptional range of household name products. They are part of a leading global business, and pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service through a UK wide distribution network. As part of an organisational restructure, the logistics function will now be further strengthened by the appointment of an Inventory Manager.
With a sizeable challenge ahead, this is an exciting opportunity to form a new team, set standards, push boundaries and solve problems in an environment where creative thinking is valued.
As Inventory Manager you'll bring with you expertise in inventory management enabling you to identify and deliver process improvements and lead the inventory team to meet the business KPI’s whilst ensuring that best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the supply chain. You'll already be a proficient people manager, and will use your experience to inspire, motivate and coach your new team through a period of change. You’ll ideally come from a complex logistics or supply chain environment, where you’ll have proven your ability to deliver both team and process improvements. Most importantly, you’ll have the resilience and determination to succeed in a hard working and forward thinking team.
