Job Description
In this key role you will ensure sufficient control and management of all interfaces and processes that will lead to the effective control and management of high value stock in this fast moving Distribution Centre. The Stock & Inventory Manager will manage a team of stock controllers to ensure the physical accuracy of the stock is commensurate with the systems that are in place. Identifying and implementing key processes and controls within the Distribution Centre that will result in a high level of inventory control and communicating these to all relevant parties will be another key aspect to this role. Dealing with the customer regarding inventory levels and Stock Management issues will be another important element to this position.
The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of distribution centre processes together with a strong level of commercial acumen. Previous experience of managing stock levels of a significant value is essential for this position. The ability to manage a teamand a customer effectivelyand communicate where change is necessary to colleagues where you have no direct authority is also a key aspect of the successful candidate. IT systems understanding will also be a critical

c.£30,000-£34,000+Car Allowance
